There is a lot going on at the Dog Fair Finland: Areena (Hall 1) , Tapahtumakehä (Hall 6), Hau Life! -stage and Breed Plaza. In addition, on both days of the Dog Fair Finland, a children’s plush toy dog competition will take over the lobby of the South Entrance.
There will be plenty of fun and exciting activities in addition to the dog shows. In the Areena, there will be award ceremonies for Vuoden virkakoirat (Service Dogs of the Year), Sankarikoirat (Finnish Kennel Club’s Hero Dogs) and Vuolasvirta for breeders . Various shows and the final competitions of the dog shows will also take place in Areena. In Hall 6’s Tapahtumakehä, you can learn more about the different dog breeds and hear various lectures.
At the Hau Life! stand in Hall 6, next to Breed Plaza, visitors can stop by and listen to breed clubs presenting their breeds. In addition, on both days, dog trainer Tommy Wirén will give two half-hour lectures, especially for those considering getting a dog and those waiting for a puppy to come home.
Plush toy dogs will take over the lobby of the southern entrance of the Messukeskus on both days! Registration for the competitions start at 11 am and the actual competition starts at 12 noon (both days). On Saturday, the competition will be judged by the Ice Princess and on Sunday by Santa Claus.
