Dalmatian Running Spots Dancing Bob was Best in Show at Voittaja Winner, owner Agnes Biglarnia from Sweden. Best in Show was chosen by Saija Juutilainen. Representatives of cooperation partners also congratulated the winner.
More than 14,000 dogs were seen in Messukeskus, Expo and Convention Centre Helsinki over the weekend in dog shows, breed presentations, and presentations on different dog sports. In addition to the dog shows, Koiramessut – Dog Fair Finland offered lots of programme for the whole family.
More than 28,000 people visited Dog Fair Finland over the weekend. Hundreds of volunteers representing different dog clubs helped with the building of and other arrangements at Dog Fair Finland. Many thanks to everyone involved!
Voittaja Winner 2023 ended the fair weekend
Best in Show at the Finnish Winner show Voittaja Winner 2024 was Dalmatian Running Spots Dancing Bob, owner Agnes Biglarnia from Sweden. Best in Show judge was Saija Juutilainen.
More than 7,000 dogs were entered to the Finnish Winner show Voittaja Winner 2024, and more than 700 took part in Voittaja Puppy Show 2024.
345 different breeds were represented at today’s show. Most dogs were entered in the breeds Labrador Retriever (97), Dalmatian (81), Border Collie (76), Shetland Sheepdog (73), and Rough Collie (73).
Dogs from 18 different countries participated at the show. Most foreign participants came from Sweden (251) and Estonia (170). Participants with the longest trip to the show came from Portugal.

Best in Show Veteran at Voittaja Winner 2024 was Finnish Spitz Loukkaharjun Aito Lempi, owners Päivi Silomäki, Toivo Lielahti, and Anni Lielahti. The Best Veteran was chosen by Harry Tast from Finland. Best in Show Breeders’ group was Eija Nurmela and John Nieminen’s Big Paw’s Miniature Schnauzers, chosen by judge Marianne Holmli from Norway.

Hero Dogs of the Year awarded at the fair
Hero Dogs were awarded at the fair, as per tradition. Every year, the Finnish Kennel Club awards the title Sankarikoira, Hero Dog, to dogs that have significantly contributed to saving one or more human lives.
This year, the title of Hero Dog was granted to 17 dogs. Awards were presented at the Dog Fair Finland Arena by Eeva Anttinen, Chair of the Finnish Kennel Club’s Council, Pirjo Onza, Executive Manager of the Finnish Kennel Club, and Jan Waronen, Sales Manager for Agria Eläinvakuutus. Golden Retriever Best in Show at the puppy show
Voittaja Puppy Show 2024 with more than 700 entered puppies was held on Sunday at Dog Fair Finland. Judge Maija Lehtonen chose as Best in Show the Golden Retriever Benton Limoncello Please, owners Kati Tolvanen and Piia Serguskin. Best in Show Breeder’s group consisted of blue Great Danes from Hanne Kärnä’s kennel Hattutempun. The best breeder’s group was chosen by Harri Lehkonen.
