Alberto Vergara is Veterinarian and Professor in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Teramo.
He was breeder of French Bulldog and Italian Cane Corso since 2000 under “Fosso Corno” Kennel name (2003), he produced several Italian, Club and European Cane Corso champions.
He was also board member of “Società Amatori Cane Corso” (SACC), officially recognized by the Italian Kennel Club (ENCI) for the protection and promotion of the breed. Nowadays Prof. Alberto Vergara is a well-respected and reputate French Bulldog breeder under “Boule de Voyance” kennel name.
Boule de Voyance Frenchies since 2000 are still there, regularly and successfully shown in the most important National and International and Club Shows! There are plenty of “Boule de Voyance” champions in different countries, Group winners, Best in Show Winners, Junior Best In Show Winners and ENCI and Club top dogs. In 2014 “Boule de Voyance” kennel won the prestigious “Breeding Trophy of Italian Kennel Club” as the very best Kennel of FCI Group 9. Alberto Vergara is the Author of several articles and the writer of the first Italian book entirely dedicated to the French Bulldog. He was President of the Technical Committee of the Italian Companion and Toy Breeds Club and Chairman of Little Molossers Section. Since 2005 he is a member of the Board of the Italian Companion and Toy Breeds Club and since 2013 Vice President of Teramo Kennel Club. Prof. Alberto Vergara is an ALL ROUNDER FCI Judge. Prof. Alberto Vergara already judged in different foreign countries like for example: Ireland, France, Principality of Monaco, Costa Rica, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Portugal, Spain. Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bulgaria and Poland. In 2020 Alberto Vergara had the pleasure and the privilege to be the spokesman of French Bulldog, Little Molossers and Italian Cane Corso seminars for the Italian judges, in collaboration with Breed’s Clubs and the Italian Kennel Club ENCI. Since 2024 Alberto Vergara is member of the Central Technical Committee of the Italian Kennel Club ENCI
