I currently live in Cornwall, England and have owned Chatmar Pet Hotel for the last 20 years.
I have been a judge in Belgian Shepherds at Championship Show Level and International level for the last 22 years, and am qualified to judge all 4 varieties. I have judged the Belgian Shepherd Speciality shows in Sweden, Germany, Norway, Australia, America, Holland, Belgium, Denmark and Finland as well as England.
I started the Chatmar Kennel back in 1991 and for 5 years only had males. In 1996 I purchased my first female and have bred 11 litters, my most recent one being my first Groenendael litter. Last year I joined forces with Gareth Edwards my friend and we now run Chatmar Kennel together. I currently have living with me   Chatmar Fire N Ice who is 15, her son Chatmar Haymaker who is 11, Niavana Miss Moneypenny at Chatmar who is 8 and her daughter Chatmar For Your Eyes Only who is 3 years. Over the last 30 years I have spent a lot of my time visiting the Speciality shows around the world studying their dogs and their pedigrees with the aim of improving my breeding programme. I have imported dogs from Sweden, Holland and Belgium and also exported dogs to Sweden, Belgium, America, France and Australia. I believe there is nothing more beautiful than a Belgian who has elegance and style, with a proud carriage of head and that typical Belgian expression, who flows around the ring. I also believe in beauty and brains and have bred two Swedish Wildtracking Champions, and an American Grand Champion.
