I have been involved with the world of show dogs since the early eighties, over 40 years. The first breed owned, exhibited and bred were Briards. I have bred a number of top winners, including Champions, Championship show Group winners and Top Dogs in the breed. The second breed I specialised in were Hungarian Puli. I have owned and exhibited the breed to great success up to present day. I am campaigning my Hungarian import female that has won 15 CC from 15 shows including Top Puli female 2022 and Top Puli 2023. These achievements despite a limited show career due to my judging commitments. Other breeds owned are a Champion Skye Terrier, Border Collie, French Bulldog and Great Dane. I am approved to award CCs in every breed in the Pastoral Group except Australian Cattle Dog. I judged Briards at Crufts in 2016, am judging Hun. Puli at Crufts in 2025 and Hungarian Pumi and Komondor at Crufts 2026. I judge the Pastoral Group at Championship show level. I serve on the Royal Kennel Club Judges committee as the Pastoral representative.
I am Secretary of the successful Richmond Championship show, Secretary of Crystal Palace Open show and a Group Steward at Crufts. I have judged regularly over Europe, but this is the first time judging in Finland, a country I have wanted to visit for many years and am eagerly looking forward to the appointment.
