Finland
Dogs and horses have been essential part of my life.
My childhood included Karelian Bear Dog, Finnish Hound, Norrbottenspitz, Cocker Spaniel and Labrador Retriever. My very own first dog was a Slovakian Chuvac and after that I found my own beloved breed Hovawart. I started to breed Hovawarts and breeding is still going on. My prefix is Hofmacher and since 1998 I have bred 32 litters. There are 20 International Champions and at the moment seven Finnish Champions (a working test is needed for the national champion title). There are also several other Champion titles and Winner-titles. With my own dogs I take part in shows, do obedience training and field tracking and love to walk with them in nature. By profession I am animal attendant and for this reason I am priviledged to get to know many different breeds.
My judging career started in 2018 and at the moment I am qualified to judge breeds in FCI groups 2, 5, 6, 7 and 9. I have several positions of trust in the local Kennel District. I am relly honored to be part of the biggest dog event in Finland – I am really looking forward this weekend!
