Where can I buy a ticket to Dog Fair Finland?

How do I get to the event?

Dog Fair Finland will be held in Messukeskus, Helsinki. Address: Messuaukio 1, 00520 Helsinki.

Please make sure you arrive with plenty of time to spare, as traffic jams can slow down your journey. If possible, please use public transport. There are several public transport stops close to Messukeskus. Read more about arriving at Dog Fair Finland.

Where can I find a parking space?

The Messukeskus car park has space for a total of 4,600 cars. The parking fee (EUR 15) entitles you to one-time parking during one day. The car park is accessed from the Ratapihantie Street. Address: Ratapihantie 17, Helsinki.

There are also other parking facilities near Messukeskus, such as P-Asemamiehenkatu 4, P-Veturi and the Mall of Tripla car park. Read more about parking at Dog Fair Finland.

Can I bring my dog to Dog Fair Finland?

Only dogs entered for dog shows can participate in the event. It is forbidden to bring tourist dogs (other than those participating in the shows) to the event.

You can buy an access pass (EUR 10) for a dog that has been entered for only one show but that needs access to the venue on the second day of the event. Passes will be sold at the northern entrance to Messukeskus during the event.

What is the programme like?

Dog Fair Finland has a wide range of events for the whole family!

At Dog Fair Finland, you can see a large number of different dog breeds participating in dog shows organised in the event. You can watch these shows, or if you need tips on dog care or are considering getting yourself a dog, you can get advice and answers from Finnish Kennel Club at the Hau Life! booth. Also check out the Breed Plaza, where different breed associations tell about life with their breeds. In addition, Dog Fair Finland will present Kennelliiton Sankarikoirat (Hero Dogs) and Virkakoirat (Service Dogs) of the Year 2024. Finnish Kennel Club’s care dogs and reading dogs will also be present at the event.

Where can I watch DogFairTV stream?

DogfairTV, the official and free streaming site, can be found at koiramessutv.fi.

Where can I find the show catalogue?

Dog Fair Finland’s dog shows use a mobile application that contains the show catalogue and presents the real-time results. Download the free application from the App Store or Google Play by searching “Showlink-mobiili”. The price of the electronic show catalogue in the application store is EUR 3.49. The catalogue is show-specific. The catalogue will be published on the morning of the show day at 6:00 a.m

Where are the trimming areas located?

The trimming areas are located in halls 3, 5 and between halls 6 and 7, in specially marked locations. Please note that trimming elsewhere is prohibited.

How is the well-being of dogs taken into account in the dog shows?

The well-being and health of dogs are always a priority in dog shows. The exhibitors are responsible for the well-being of the dogs.

Dog Fair Finland has well-being advisors who tour the exhibition halls to see how the exhibitors take the well-being of their dogs into account. The well-being advisors are kennel advisors trained by Finnish Kennel Club. They provide advice and guidance to the dog exhibitors and, if necessary, also intervene in situations that endanger a dog’s well-being. They can hand out “Kiva koirakko” (Lovely Pair) prize rosettes to the exhibitors they have encountered, whose dogs clearly seem to be having a nice, stress-free day at the show. Read more about taking your dog’s well-being and health into account in the shows.

What kind of shopping opportunities does the event offer?
